Just Starting Out

Its been awhile since I've been on this forum. Now I'm seriously thinking about growing hydroponically. And I have a few questions that have been buggin me for awhile.

I've read something about flushing, can someone tell me in detail what it is?

Is using CO2 important to spray on my plants? If so, where can I go to purchase a canister and regulator? Is there any alternatives to getting CO2 instead of spending large sum of money?

Where can I find good organic fertilizer and nutrients for my grow? If the organic items are on the expensive side, what would you recommend on non-organic items?
