Hello, I have been lurking around the site for the past month or so. I have been trying to get "clean" for the last 35 days for a job. I am 5'11 175 lbs. I worked out 4-5 days a week while smoking(about 3.5 a week of good stuff about 6 days a week for 3 years) and since I quit smoking, I have worked out 31 out of the 35 days of abstaining. It has really sucked. I went through a good 2 week bout of insomnia, I have dropped 2 pant sizes, and have missed my bad habit. Anyhow, I recently bought some tests online for real cheap(about 8 bucks for 10 only for THC). I took the test this morning, first void of the day and I had to take the test to the light to see a faint line on the test. I mean, it was so faint that I didn't see it at all at first. I was very disheartened as I would have thought at 35 days I would be clean. I am in good shape, I have very little body fat and have always exercised. I am not sure what to do...I am now reading that it may take 10 weeks to be clear of the test. I can't afford to not get the job because of this. As a control group, I had a friend(who smoked 2 weeks ago but rarely smokes) take the same test and he registered a dark red line on the testing line of the immunoassay.
Is there anything I should/should not be doing? I am so sad that even after 35 days I cannot get a clean test. I have been eating dried cranberries, drinking my 8 glasses of water a day, eating vegetables, getting massages, running 3-5 miles a day....how could my body be so unhealthy?
