CO 2 & vent fans question
i currently hav a 4X4 x8 tall grow hut , i fill with co2 for a half hour (have a ppm meter in hut) and vent and cool light ect. for a half hour , i have timers that shut each off at the right time ,
Question is , is this a good way to do it ? should co2 be on all the time when light is on ? (i have 600 hps) .and i might add that i vent up to attic , and it goes through carbon filter first,,,,,,,,,,,,, i would kinda like to know what others do :) i will post a pic soon when the uploader works
CO 2 & vent fans question
In a set up that small, you might be better off doing a really slow constant release of co2 with the emitters really close to the plant so its getting pure co2. by doing a really slow release, you conserve co2 and no longer have to worry about vent fans.
If you go the other way and want to saturate the room in co2 you are going to waste a lot of it through air exchange. since a 4x4x8 area is very quickly heated by a 600HPS, your fans will remove much of the co2 before it is used by the plant(s).
