Please help with my anxiety
Hey guys I'm new to the site just looking for some opinions on my situation. So I was clean for 3 weeks, with lots of exercise. I was passing home tests in the morning with fairly dark lines. After maybe 3 or 4 days of passing in the morning I went to take my test. I thought it would be a d.o.t. test since I am a commercial diver and that is what it usually is. When I got there the paper said NASAP and it said the THC cut off is 20 ng/ml instead of the standard 50 ng/ml that I would have on a d.o.t. test. That morning I pissed twice after I woke up. Then I drank a 32oz gatoraid. I pissed a few times, than on the way and while I was waiting I had another 24oz of juice and water, and pissed a few more times. I know it passed the validity test cause I saw him use the strip in front of me. I had been loading up on creatine for a few days, and I added a little salt to the gatoraid for the specific gravity. What do you think my chances are of passing with the 20 ng/ml cutoff? Basically I have till monday to find out and my anxiety is through the roof, any input would help weather positive or negitive.

Well, I've never myself had to be drug-tested, but a pal of mine once had to. Legitimately, he smoked weed the day before he went and took his drug-test and passed it, along with drinking large amounts of water and such. It all just depends on your system I suppose, but good luck brother!

Be sure and keep your copy of the tests and I would recommend immediately go take a new DOT test and pay for it yourself. Then get an
attorney and sue. The lab is not following protocol for a federally regulated testing procedure and they deserve to be sued. You may also contact your state dept of labor and industries or whatever they call it in your state. They will look into it also and will be able to get a lot more information on this company than you would be able to get. Ask for copies of all relevant information from the l&I. This is all free information for you and could help in any lawsuit that you might want to file.
I've been tested probably 50 times for trucking jobs and have never had a 20ng cutoff for cannabis.

If what youre stating is indeed true, then you did not take a DOT test. Under DOT regulations, the cutoff for the initial screen is 50 ng. Plus ALL DOT tests must be sent to a lab for analysis (that includes validity testing). ANY type of on-spot testing is prohibited , under DOT regs.
With DOT testing, the regulations must be adhere to by the collectors and labs. Failure to follow the regulations can result in serious sanctions being imposed by the Agency, including the loss of certification to conduct DOT testing. Since DOT testing is primarily the bread and butter of the collection site and lab, this would spell the end of them as a business. No collection site or lab in their right frame of mind is going to chance jepordizing this all by stepping outside the regulations mandated by the Agency.
