Temperature control solution?

White widow is now 7 days into flower stressed with yellow tops which pushit has helped me with :thumbsup:
The cheapest solution i can think of is x2 fan heaters x2 timers. 1 timer set for dark with fan heaters variable thermostat set at 20 degrees. The other timer set for light periods with heater set at 30 degrees..? How do you rate the cheap fan heaters as a solution?? would i then have humidity issues? If the fan heaters are suitable they would be working all the time to maintain those temperatures so could i then remove my air circulation fans? This setup as i need 2 therefore 4 of everything will cost 60 whereas the tube and climate controller i found from hydro shop hits about 120 each!. If successful i hope shell survive the climate change...

Hey,
I've never used a fan heater, so I don't know how much help I can be there. My thoughts being that they're not particularly quiet, so if that's going to be an issue, perhaps you could use Oil fin heaters and use a fan to blow through it.
If you do decide to use to fan heaters, I'd keep your normal fan.

Perhaps try ebay for a Temperature Controller? (as $120 seems abit steep)

I use the oil radiator type , they have a built in thermostat. just keep it at 70-75 and on all the time. when the lights are off it kicks on, when the lights come on and the temp rises it kicks off. my room in the winter stays at 68-74. this is the cheap route.

rather than trying to dial in fans and heaters, try buying a good thermostat that does heating and cooling and just plug and play.

you may need a relay or two, but they are easy to build and allow you to easily expand your grow rooms cooling power down the road w/o having to change all your cooling gear.
