Microwaved Urine for a drug test. Did I ruin it?!

Hey guys I decided to use the substitution method on Friday to attempt to pass my drug test. I had the quickfix bottle but instead used my friends clean urine instead of the synthetic stuff.

I put the bottle with the clean urine in the microwave for about 8 seconds, closed it up, attached the handwarmer, and then went to the facility. Its only been a couple days but I was worry free because the substition went fine, with the temperature reading between 90-100 and the person sending it off to the lab.

Only when browsing the internet later did I realize that people online advise not microwaving clean urine because it somehow can alter the chemicals and cause you to fail the drug test. I am now stressing out like crazy and need to know if this is just what people "think" or is their actual evidence to back it up. It was only in their for like 8 seconds but people say that the radiation messes with it and the labs can tell. Can somebody please give me some information on the matter. Thanks!

What youve read there is total hogwash. Microwaving human urine will not affect any of the urine constituents being tested. However, it is still not recommended because human urine is a bio-hazard and should not be near an area where food and utensils are involved.

Wow thank you so much for that insight! I just got super nervous because literally almost every website I went to had multiple people saying to absolutely not microwave clean urine or you will fail the drug test. I was a little skeptical because quickfix says to microwave their sample but people responded with "Its synthetic, its different, it dosen't break down the enzymes/proteins/etc". But thanks again for relieving my stress!

Enzymes and protiens are not tested for on samples collected for a drug test. So with that being stated, they dont know what the hell they are talking about.
