Wilting :(

It's wilting. I thought it was overwatering at first but then I tried cutting down a few days and no change. It's not the light cuz the light is real close no heat (CFL). The soil is non fertilized. Just soil n some perlite. Please tell me why it's doing this.

Whats the Ph of the soil? What's the Ph of the water you are giving it? for starters.

If that's tin foil on the walls it will give you hot spots so watch out.

My leaves always curl under like that. Most likely a water too much issue. When in those small containers, they can dry out so fast, yet we are watering them to keep them moist.

DOn't fret. Yet.

All my plants start out with curling and I just learned to follow the rules. When they get out of those containers, they will be fine.

I dont like to use light colored containers in CFL grow, as I think light gets through the cup and into the roots, heating the soil.

CFL do produce some heat.

I cant tell if those are paper or plastic cups either.

I have attached a pic of all my little whores...as you can see they all look like yours do. Leaves curling under real bad....

As long as they stay green and the two seed halves stay green for awile, they are cool. Here is my pic of all them curling under....they will be fine...

How often should I water then? Every time I see the top being dry I water a little. I don't know the PH of the soil or water cuz I still need to go get a ph tester. Its really scaring me cuz at first the leaves were growing out straight.

You need PH test strips. They are cheap enough until you can score a $65.00 unit.

Get them where you get pool shit.

Dont fret. the leaves start out straight...But you do need to know the ph of your water.

As to watering, well thats a judgement call. Water when dry.

Lift the pot and feel or sense how dry it is. Dig your finger an inch into the soil. If its dry, water slowly but thoroughly. Water slowly so the water is absorbed...when it starts to leak out the bottom, stop.

Remember the top will always dry first, so you gotta kinda dig a little bit but in time you will learn to lift the pot and you can tell.

Whats a good soil and water PH? Ima go get strips tomorow morning. And here's some pics of the replanted ones (starting off real strong). RIP Maryann and MaryJane :(.

All I do is set water PH to 6.3 and water.

Never had to deal with soil PH,....plants never complained.
