seeking advice on seedlings (photos included)
now that i'm past the tiny seedling stage, i'm in day 10 and the plant seem a little small (some legginess too) two sets of leaves only . would it be ok to add a micro amount of nutes ?
I know I shouldnt nute that early but I suspect the soil to be low in nutes giving the slow growing rate, the nutes are 7.5% n 6%p 6%k
thanks

Dont add any nutes at all at this stage. i made the mistake and paid for it. thought i lost my plant but its recovering better than i thought. its a little older than 3 weeks. i burnt the F**k out of it and the leaves went yellow and almost died. what light are you using? is it too far away?

OK Ned.. It looks like you are using a CFL or some sort of fluorescent light. If using flouro's then you could essentially put the light directly on the plant and not have to worry about burn from the light. Id say no less than 2" from the plant canopy. If you are using anything other than an HID, LED, or flouro you will not have enough lighting and cause heat problems.
Nutes aren't needed for at least the first 3 weeks after sprout has popped up. Nutrients this early will cause nute burn and stunted growth. After the 3 weeks period you can start adding nutes, I like to be safe and start at 1/4 strength and go up from there if the plant can take it.
Other than that they look really good..!

thats the thing dude!, theyre only 24w each but they feel hot on my hand when theyre nearer, not to hot but definitely 84f or over . is that fine
I got 120w on about a square foot, could be genetics, will do at week 4 or 5 with the nutes, i'll just wait, to compensate I just repotted them with high quality soil (more like expensive soil) organic %85 mater its german, take a look at the pic for some info (everybody is welcome to contribute )
here a pic of my setup but thats during the day so they get light+sunshine. plants are at day 11 looking healthy but growing realllll slow !
aeration is good
humidity and co2 not so much !

Im still a rather new person when it comes to growing but when i started my current plant i put nutes in the soil before the seeds and diluted the crap out of the nutes for first water.. Then slowly concentrated the ammount of nutes in the water untill i got to the correct ammount to give each feeding.. Dont just pour it all in at once.. let the plant get used to it slowly... Also may want to move your lights closer to them.

but i dont think its a nute thing man, look how tiny they are , besides the soils already has much NPK in it
