I have five 1 month old plants that are being eaten by bugs. HELP!
Over the past few days ive noticed that bugs have been munching out on my plant's leaves. I've heard that i can use a powder that is used to keep bugs off of roses. Is this true? Will it do any harm to my crop?
Also Ive heard that vitamin B is a good thing to use for root development..Is this true aswell? If so, how much & how often? Thanx! :stoned:

Good old diotamaceous earth will kill all bugs including ants. It is not toxic, can be spread around the base of the plants, if they are flying bugs then you could actually dust them with it and rinse it off later. You dont want to be breathing this microscopic dust but if it is food grade it is alright to eat it. The very sharp edges of the fossil dust is what kills the insects. Cheap at any garden store, Lowe's etc.

Try pure organic neem oil. I use it. Put 5ml of neem oil, 3 ml soap and 1 litre of warm water. shake it all up good in the bottle and spray everywhere. Put some down by the roots too. Be sure you put enough soap in the water to mix the oil well. Neem oil works by messing with the insects behaviour. Insects forget to eat, reproduce, larvae die and even eggs don't hatch, it kinda messes with their chemical signals. Some insects even forget that they can fly ! It works on lots of insect pest and is 100% organic. It isn't harmful to the plant and can even be put in the soil, it doesnt harm bees or earthworms etc. Just pests. Try it and see. But it doesnt work immediately as it take time for the insects to die from not eating and reproducing. Depending on the expected life cycle of the bug in question. Worth a try and your plants won't have any dangerous chemicals in them.

I use spinosad pellets in the soil and spray them down with neem oil once a week
