What happened to my buds? Any advice?
I've been a medical grower for almost 3 years now and am stumped...
I'm growing the same strains I started with and some new ones.
I don't have any problems in general it's just my grows are not producing like they use to.
My first grow I was getting 3-4 ounces off a 3 foot plant.
Now I'm lucky to get 2 ounces off the same plant.
What gives?
Someone had mentioned possible root aphids but I'm not finding anything.
Everything is healthy and looks good and finishes fine, its just my buds went from fist size to golf ball size...
ANY IDEAS? ANYONE???

Your changing the conditions or environment somehow.....you just have to find out what it is.

Yep...back to basics I guess...lol.
With temps and humidity good(and all else for that matter), is it possible to have TOO MUCH fresh air coming in a room?
I have fresh air coming in the flower room when the lights are on for the whole 12 hours, no delays.
Whatcha all think? OK? Not ok?

No such thing as too much fresh air. Now if you were pumping in some new chems in the air or some polution maybe.
One question is How do you start ?
I mean clones from a mother or seed everytime.
Seems I see probs sometimes from clones from very old mothers or mother replaced with not quit the same robust charactoristics.

I don't keep mothers. I just clone off the one's in veg before flowering. I appreciate your thoughts, thanks.
Anyone else?

maybe temps arent dialed in and vary from previous grows. Ive learned that cannabis plants crave a 75 degree room with 35% humidity, with a little dip in nightime temps to bring out some colors. Bring the temps up to 82 or more and i see lankier plants with more stretching. The buds dont always connect right and can be stringy in high temp environment and/or they're too close to the light. This can hurt yield as well.
Did you keep the lights higher last time? Did you water more or less? ..............these are the trials and tribulations of being a marijuana grower. Every grow we are challenged to improve on the last.
The more fresh air the merrier, plants will use up all of the c02 in a sealed room eventually and if you don't more fresh c02 rich air your yields and plant performance will suffer.

I believe that's about what I had too...beginners luck for about 3 grows. I'm talking my first grow was one solid pound from 5 plants that were 2-3 feet tall under a 1000 watt bulb in a tent.
