New to the forum seeking some advice
Howdy everyone,
Long time smoker, first time poster.
I lost my job before christmas so im going to try growing my own outdoors. im looking for any advice or if i've missed something so any input would be much appreciated. I live in the north-west of northern ireland and i live in the country side. i've a couple of very discreet spots all south facing so i can have a couple of sites.
I've a load of seeds im going to germinate soon, only thing is i have no idea what strain they are. should i take the chance and work away?
if so, once they have sprouted indoors and need to be moved to the outdoors what size of pot and compost/soil would you recommend? theres an unlimited supply of cow shite would that do?
would it be worth setting up a little enclosure (chicken wire) round it to keep those pesky wabbits away?
it can be windy where i live, can you weigh the pots down with anything that wont upset the ph of the soil or affect the growing??
i think thats it lol :rasta:

You can try the seeds but you'll have to carefully watch for males and remove those plants once you find them. As far as what strains they are it won't really matter. With the right growing conditions they will work.
I would dig holes in the ground and amend the soil with some good potting soil. Be careful with the cow patties. They're very rich in minerals and can burn the young plants and over used. A good potting soil will be good enough.
A fence is always a good idea with outdoor grows. All kinds of critters love the smell of cannabis. You'll also have to keep a close eye on bugs.
