Which Method Is Easiest..?
I was wondering which method, in your experienced opinion is easiest? I am going to be starting a e new grow in mid March and was needing some input.
I will have 6 plants under a 600w HID light, Room: 7'x10'x5', Botanicare Nutes, and hoping to have another 600w HID before flower.
Which Method Is Easiest..?
if you are talking method of growing then DWC by far the simplest.
Which Method Is Easiest..?
I've never grown DWC but a well fortified, pre-nuted, and well buffered soil is dead simple. It is very forgiving. I don't even use my pH pen 90% of the time, just a fish tank kit to make sure I'm in range. I recommend FoxFarms Ocean Forest.

I agree that soil is much more forgiving. I love soil, but financially, hydro is cheaper. FFoF is the best and also the most expensive. I love the stuff.
I am going to go with a DWC setup. I have my 6, 5gal "Lowes" Bucket, along with "Lowes" 5gal Lids. I cut holes for 6" netted pots. A 20 gal storage tote as the res, and a All the fittings, gromets and tubing to hook it all together. An other advice on setup?
Which Method Is Easiest..?
Sooo... I went to Lowes and bought 6, 5gal buckets w/ lids. Cut 6" holes in the lids for netted pots. Bought a 4 and 2 way air pump, tubing, 7, 3/4" rubber grommets, 6, 3/4" T- adapters, 2, L-adapters, 2, 3\4" valves. 1 drain, 1 fill. 1, 30gal storage tote as a Res. 15' of 3/4" Black tubing to connect all the buckets and res. together. And another 600w HID light kit.
Heres a pic of the buckets, not set up yet, just pieces, and a few of my DWC clone setup! Everything I have made, is pieced out from Lowes.. LOL
If you any questions, feel free to ask.
Enjoy!

I hate starting a new thread for a simple question, so I'll start it here and see what happens:
I just built my own cloner, as you can see in the last set of pics. I currently have them feeding for 15 mins every 4 hrs. I was wondering, what is a decent feeding schedule. I know its mostly trial and error and strains and blah, blah, blah... lol. But I am just wanting a quick reference as to what could be a decent schedule?
Timer Ideas:
On Time "Min." / Off Time "Hours"
45 / 8 ..?
15 / 4 ..?
15 / 2 ..?
30 / 6 ..?
60 / 12 ..?
