First Time Grower is my plant doing okay?
hello everybody, this is my first grow just wanted to know if my plant looks okay, it hasnt been making much progress the past 2-3 days just some growth in the leaves in the nodes, i think i might also be under too much heat cause leaf ridges are curling up, i accidently was running the lights 16/8 this whole time i intended to do 18/6 but im just gonna do 24/0 now, im using fox farm soil with no extra ferts until flowering, i got a HPS 600w about 20-24 inches above the plant. This is a White Widow X Lavender seed.

I'm no expert as I am a first timer too, but the plant looks a little droopy. From what I've read online, this means that you might be over-fertilizing or over/under watering them. Other than that, WOW. I hope I can get my plant that big soon!

just keep it on 18/6 for veg any more is a waste of power, looks fine though:) have you thought about LST while it's young to promote the other branches to grow as big. Here is a pic of mine about the same age, just by tying and bending it down.Attachment 282232

It looks ok.. just ok though..
The leaves looking odd is most def an environmental factor. You should fix it, the plant wont let you get away with that for long.
Also, if you are not going to run any nutes, I would suggest you invest in some beneficials. Even if the soil you are using has some in it. Get yourself some great white shark and never look back. That stuff is amazing! It would take piranha, tarantula and voodoo juice to get what GWS has and it costs like 35 bucks for a small jar that will last a while.
Watch the over watering, learn how to gauge if the plant is thirsty by lifting the pot when dry and when you have just watered. Get a feel for this early on and you will never have to worry about it again.

Pic #3 shows the leaf tips are bent up. What is the temp @ the top of the plant. The top soil looks dry but that can be misleading if the temps are to high. What is the moisture level a few inches below the surface. be frugal with nutes and gradually increase them.
