Seed Demonstration - Good Genetics vs Bad Genetics
Just figured I'd post a couple pictures of an interesting experiment I have going on at the moment. I planted 6 seeds at the same time, in the same medium and in all the same conditions and what not. All 6 sprouted from the soil on the same day.
The difference is that 3 seeds were ordered and prepared for the sake of growing quality plants with good genetics. The strain I picked out was purple widow. The other 3 seeds are just bagseed from some excellent cannabis that was somehow pollinated unintentionally. The bagseeds are also somewhere around 3 years old. So ultimately it is just the difference in using bagseed vs ordering seeds from a respectable seed vendor.
I understand there are other factors involved with this that affect the seedlings such as age of the seeds and so on. But anyways.. I thought it was interesting how different they look, even at such a young stage when most seedlings look the same.
The youngin's in the black pots are the purple widows. The seedlings in the orange clay pots are the bagseed.Attachment 281721Attachment 281722
