Most efficient and all around best strains for SOG method

I am currently experimenting with a few different plants in preparation for doing a small SOG garden and would like input from anyone else who runs a SOG on what the most effective strains are for this technique. Things I'm looking for are short flowering period, compact structure, obviously quality of the finished product, and basically everything else that makes for an effective SOG.

Indica or Sativa or whatever blend doesn't matter too much to me right now. I know indicas are typically better for this but I suppose I wouldn't mind a good sativa or sativa dom hybrid or something.
