14/10?

I was reading that once plants start to flower at 12/12 you could go to 14/10 to give them more light/energy to grow with.

Then I also read that give them longer nights to help finish flowering.

Does that sound right?

I'm a month in and am seeing young flowers so move to 14/10 now then later move to 10/14 for the last week or two?

I don't think you want to go 14/10 for flowering. This could stress the plant the wrong way and give you a hermie, but I'll let someone else weigh in on that one. I am running the plants I have in flower on a 10/14 schedule right now and everything looks good, though they are only 3 weeks into it so the jury is still out until harvest time :)

I'm doing that now.. I have my timer set to 10/14.. Weed grows in the dark! Second harvest.. Saves ya some money on ya power bill,too! Adds mass to your buds and end up being denser. nOOb is right some.... It would depend on the strain. I would never try an autoflowering strain.. However I would use that schedule on any strain that is higher in Indica versus sativa.
