How to get endless bud?

i didn't read all 53,000 posts so hope i'm not repeating... i checked out a friend's grow yesterday and was astounded. he has three plants he said were kush that have 3' long branches, just 3-4 in each pot and they don't have the normal small branches or fan leaves. the leaves are all tiny and the branches are solid bud about 2 1/2" in diameter, easily a pound per plant of dry bud. i forgot to ask if he trimmed it to do this or if that is the nature of the plants, anyone know? they make every other plant i've ever seen look like spindly bushes. j

You can get what you call an endless bud,by flowering a confirmed female at about 12 inches tall. No topping.. Just let it flower. It'll be one long bud. More like a sea of green method of growing.
