Do i use blue spectrum CPS lights for vegative stage and red spectrum for flowering ??
Thats a big old yes
hey man i am only a beginner myself but the answer to that is yes
good luck
Yes blue is good for veg and red for flowering. But i always have to be different. I start plants with blue dominant light. example 400watt mh- 150 watt hps. Then when it is time for flowering my 400 watt hps and 400 watt mh.I tried this years ago and it just seems to produce larger buds. then again it just might be all in my head.Just figured that the sun is of several spectrums and plants love the sun so why not try to give them as much as i can to help them grow.Or somthing like that. You can scale that down to fit a smaller grow. also i do this with mostly autoflowers. Although i am trying it on some photoperiod plants . so we shall see.
okay thanks, this is my first gro so i will try the blue for veg and red for flowering and see how that go's.
Using the mixed spectrum will yield better results in the end. Try using a little more blue in the veg stage and more red in the flowering stage.
are CPS lights LEDS ?
no there not LEDs google them, put in CPS grow light and go to shopping
Im not going to be the one that tells you what light is better. I only have experience with CFL's and HID's. I have never tried out the CPS lights, so I cannot caoment on them. I will only suggest that the only true way to know what works best for you is "trial-n-error". Ask many of the pro's out there, they will even tell you that yur first few times around are usually all about learning. Happy to help if I can.
i received NO usable results from google . could you please post a link to a CPS GROW LIGHT ??Quote:
