It should'nt be any deficiency yet as the to embryo leafs (round leafs at the bottom) feed it until they fall off, how far away is the light?? is it directly above? it looks like a lighting problem duw to how tall they are....
i would say make sure you have proper ventilation, fresh water and make sure the light isnt close at all, the MH doesnt need to be close to the plant itself. ur problem sounds like a super easy fix with proper adjustments
