a few questions about my set up.

Hello every one, this is my first post on this fourm and I would like to say how helpful it has been and thank you

on to the subject at hand, I plan on changeing alot of this but this is my first time growing and i just wanted to try with some seeds I picked
up over the last month, Im useing a 10 gallon fish tank for my box and 2 15 watt florescent tube lights I think both of them are 2400k heres a pic I plan on transplanting them as soon as I can into some miracle grow potting soil and I am planing to get 3 6400k cfls and hang them above the tank for this grow or the next but will useing 2, 2400k work for these plants the whole time? right now I
have the light on 18/6. Oh and I plan on getting a vent system set up for it to. Im kinda doing a trail and error thing right now but im almost
sure I will kill them if i dont get a second opinion. Oh and will 3 2700k cfls do?

First thought is that your going to need a hell of a lot more light for your kids than just a couple of cfl's. 6500K is a good colour for veging, the 2700K's could be added in for when you flower - but you will need more bulbs and also at a higher wattage than 15w.
Can you post a pic of what your setup is so far?

I sure can iv made a few changes so far, I got 2 6500k 100w cfls and a timer and im running a 18/6 light cycle... and I water every other day or when i cant find any moisture in the soil about a half inch down. [attachment=o278358]

Nice and clean looking :) Do you have a small fan available? She'll appreciate having fresh air around her.
How are your temperatures in there now that you have the 2 lights?
