I have two closets. I'm feeding the flowering closet but not the vegging one. I'm also topping the vegging girls and keeping them under low light. Am I hurting my final yield by doing this? Can they stay vegged for too long? Is the poor living conditions hurting my yield?
Different variables have to he considered when asking questions like this....because what might and will work for one, might not work for another.... Like if someone recommended you use a 600w MH for veg, do you have the temp controls to deal with the temps???
What I mean is that you should do what works for you....if you are satisfied with your end results, keep on doing what you are doing.... But, if you feel like their is room for improvement, upgrade to suit YOUR needs....
Curious....why top and not fim??? What do you mean by poor living conditions??? No, their is no such thing as too long of a veg stage unless your plants will outgrow the space provided, then yes.... Also, what size lamps do you run for veg and for flower???

poor conditions like not having any nutes and the poor lighting. I have 35,000 lummens going into the fruiting side.But only 7600 in the veg side. I am doing this to slow the growth of the plant.
