The decision on whether to dilute or substitute is overwhelming

I have a pre-employment drug test on Monday. By then it will have been just over 2 weeks since I last smoked. I am almost 100% certain that the test will be at LabCorp. If I sub I will be using Quick Fix from a local head shop here in Houston. Each method (substitution and dilution) has their pros and cons and I've been trying to make a decision. I smoked for 3 months about 5 days a week prior to abstaining (roughly 1/8th every 2 - 3 weeks). I am 6'3" 190lbs. I've read all the stickies on this forum as well as a few other sites, so I consider myself moderately informed on both methods. Bottom line, I don't know if I should use my own urine, or put my faith (and a 50K salary) into Quick Fix.

After this post I am going to Walgreens to buy an at home drug test to see where I stand. Any advice is well appreciated! Thanks.

With your plan to test yourself, youre on the right track. That will help you arrive at a decision as to whether to use your own urine, or sub with the QF.

Just be sure to use the first urination of the day when testing yourself. If youre testing negative with the first urination, youre good to go. :thumbsup:

Whenever it is a "I absolutely have to pass this test", and your stll hot, odds will tell you that subbing is like betting with house money.

I just took the at-home drug test. I passed. The "test" line was pretty dark. It's only 2:15 am, but I have a weird sleep schedule. This was my first urination of the day. I am ecstatic, and I hope the lab test results are also negative. However, I am surprised that I passed only after 2 weeks of abstaining. Whatever, I'll take the plunge on Monday with my fingers crossed.

Maybe you could increase your chances further by subbing , and if u had to in an emergency use your own sample since it is almost sure to pass.That way if supervised you`d be using the real thing.

It wasn't at LabCorp. It was at a place I've never heard of before. I diluted, but not to an extreme. Supposedly the test I took provides the results in 15 minutes. I didn't want to ask the lab technician any questions because it would have seemed suspicious. Would I be contacted if I failed the urinalysis? The lab was open for another 4 hours after I left. Thanks for the help and words of encouragement.
