"In a Wednesday statement, Assemblyman Wesley Chesbro (D-Arcata) said the DOJ cuts won't result in the layoffs of any local law enforcement officers, but "may result in a reduction of coordination between the Attorney General's Office and local law enforcement programs."

Great because now they can go after real and dangerous criminals, not the law abiding med cannabis growers....

CAMP is a federally funded program however the groups of people who are assigned to CAMP are a mix of fed and state employees, mostly state.... If the state cannot afford to spare those employees to help the Feds with their "investigations", the Feds will have a much tougher task ahead of them....

California is broke, first things to go are education and emergency service budgets.... I'm sure they'll still roam the national forests and public lands looking for guerilla grows....

For now, I can only hope they leave the law abiding med growers alone....
