US Decrees That Marijuana Has No Accepted Use

"Nonetheless, the DEA concluded that marijuana has no accepted medical use, Leonhart wrote in her letter, because its chemistry is not known and adequate studies have not been done on its usefulness or safety. â??At this time,â? she said, â??the known risks of marijuana use have not been shown to be outweighed by specific benefits in well-controlled clinical trials that scientifically evaluate safety and efficacy.â?

I thought this was the most absurd....known risks have not been shown to outweigh the benefits??? How many times a day do those lawyer commercials come on asking if you or a loved one has had a stroke, heart attack or even death because of a certain pharmaceutical drug???

The DEA receives too much in tax dollars for them to give up their fight against cannabis.... Again, it all boils down to money and greed....the people be damned.... We need to vote out all them MoFo's....
