ppm in my dwc too high
hey guys, just germinated a few seeds and put them in a tupperware dwc system. They've been growing for about two weeks and are about 4-5 inches tall.
My problem is the waters ppm. When i added the nutes two days ago i checked the ppm which showed 400-500, now today its between 600-700. Anyone know whats going on here or how to fix it. I was thinking of adding more water to dilute the reservoirs or dumping some of the existing reservoir out.

Well, it goes like this: A plant takes on only so much in nutrients. When you start out at 600ppm and a few days later your nutes are at 700, then obviously the plant is taking all the nutrients it can, and the rest water. Having the ppm higher means its taking more water, and leaving you with the higher ppm. If the reverse happens, the reverse would be true. You can either change out the nutes and start fresh, adding less nutes, or adjust it with water to make it less strong.

It's been two weeks?
Just swap out the nutes for fresh.
