WTF IS GOING ON?????

I would like the opinion of my distinguished panel members.

It has been 2 weeks since I smoked. 2 bowls a day. I quit to look for work.
Exercise and hard work along with drinking large amounts of water coffee and beer to pee my brains out. The job is for $17.00 per hour.
I got called in for a job interview so I went to GNC and purchased a detox. I am 6'1 and 200 pounds. I purchased a detox for people with bigger body mass just to be sure.
I went to the interview and nailed it. They did not test me.
Monday I got a call from the employer requesting a piss test . I had 48 hours to prep.
So I went and purchased the SAME detox and here was the schedule.
18 hours prior to test stopped eating solids started pounding water.
12 hours before test drank another bottle detox mix
drank 64 ounces of water and went to bed.
5 hours prior to test I woke up and drank 2 cups of coffee and
pee,pee,pee,pee,poop,pee,pee
15 minutes before test. chugged 32 more ounces of water
took test.
They did an instant test and said there was a problem and have to send to lab (MEDITOX) in St.Paul.
I went to walmart and purchased a home test for THC and passed. It was weak pass but non the less it passed according to the directions.
So I ask. WTF> Did I pass? Will I pass? Whats up? Is it clean? Do you think they got suspicious cus the instant test may have been weak?
How will MEDITOX test it? wll they put it through a spectrometer?
WIll I pass and get the job or EPIC FAIL?

Gatekeeper7-: those tests are often a toss-up::wtf: Most employers do not test until they are fairly certain they want to hire you. They, especially Wally's, won't spend an extra cent on a test if you arent' a shoe in! Any sign of anything may require more testing. Do not partake:jointsmile:, until you know you can pass or find out results. If it has any sign of a substance, that is what they are testing for, anything could have shown up. Need more testing-most want a clean test! Cross your fingers around something besides the herb and await the results. Call them within a certain period of time, when you know you can test clean. Use the old stand-by, you have no clue how it could possibly turn up anything and request another test. If you have had any weight loss, it will release some in your urine. So, do not try to lose wt. prior to any testing. Once hired:smokin:
Remember, due to anything showing up, once you are hired, they may do a random test. It may be very likely you tested 'something wrong' for something else. Be patient and find out the results. At $17. and hour, Wal-mart; that is pretty good pay. Be patient, don't fret. Just get clean for now and pray to the ganja Gods to be in your favor! Luck be with you! Curious-what will you be doing?

Building parts for American machine companies. Test for hiring not a random test place. They will test if I get hurt. Since I will not be production the most that can happen is to have my finger amputated because of an infected paper cut.
I just hope it will show nothing and diluted. They may re-test.
The woman That did the pre-hire screen was a real bitch. If I get the job I will post, If I fail I will post. This is the golden ring I have been dreaming about. I don't think i have don this much marching back and forth since the military.

You can't just drink a ton of fluids and hope to pass urine screens these days. They test your creatinine and specific gravity. All the detox BS in the world can't fix that for you. You more than likely have a negative/dilute result. Up to them if they want to allow you to retest or move along to the next candidate. Next time follow the dilution sticky skipping the aspirin part and paying close attention to the creatine loading part which helps you avoid dilute results. Good luck.

For the past decade or so, drug testing has become much more than just analyzing for drugs of abuse. Specimen integrity checks are performed in order to determine a diluted/adulterated/substituted urine sample. Chances are the collector found something suspicious about the sample (ie diluted) and sent the sample off to medtox to have the creatinine and SG quantitated.

This goes to show you whats been said all along: that all detox products are a big scam to capitalize on the so-called "war on drugs" by preying upon the credulous and taking their hard-earned cash. The labels on those drinks may boast about "containing creatine" as part of the sales pitch, but what they wont tell you ( perhaps to avoid losing potential customers) is that it takes 2-3 days for the body to convert the creatine into creatinine in order to be present in urine. Thats one of the many reasons why people should stop feeding those scam artists by buying their bogus snake oils and instead read up on the steps outlined in the Dilution sticky thread. By using the drinks, youre diluting anyway, so why not just save the money and the heartache from those snake oils backfiring on you?

Its also a possibility that the cantankerous collector was untrained and seen a faint line on the instant test and misinterpreted it as a "non-negative" and sent it off to Medtox for a confirmation test. Even if an untrained tech were to misinterpret a faint line and sent the sample elsewhere for the confirmation GC/MS test, the sample would still come back as a negative.

Web is right on this as well. The lab MRO simply reports to the employer that the test result was a negative/diluted. How an employer will handle a negative/dilute depends on the employer. Some will just accept a negative/dilute as a hunky dory, while others will order a re-test, while still others will simply move on to the next applicant for hire.
