Add more soil?
Well my pro-mix finally quit sinking! I filled my buckets up to the top but the damn soil kept sinking. Should I add more soil? I have plenty of drain holes and the center ring of the bucket cut out for roots to escape into the ground if need be. I plan on eventually burying the buckets once my babies are big enough for their spot in the wilderness. I lost about 3 inches all around the bucket after the sinking was said and done. Should I add more soil or just bury my buckets, knowing the roots can escape gives me comfort Heres some pics of the sunken soil and how my buckets look beneath. Roots should have no prob escaping when buried?Attachment 276355Attachment 276356Attachment 276353Attachment 276354

Add more soil?
Adding more soil will prompt the stem to grow roots? Also I hear growing in 5 gallon buckets is fine. I've had success in the past growing in 5 gallon buckets. But FULL buckets, im not use to soil sinking a few inches on me lol. If the stem will root when I add soil to it, I'm not worried about burying them. Just the loss of a few inches of soil around the entire bucket made me iffy if I will be okay until harvest.

Add more soil?
well they are a little small to have in those big buckets right now how long have you had them in the buckets ?
anyways you can always add more soil when she bigger so its not a problem and im sorry but i doubt those holes will really let the roots get out really all that good its best to cut the bottom out of them when you bury them.
