TOPPING MY PLANTS FIM TECHNIQUE

:thumbsup:I am a novice grower. i should have topped my plants earlier but now its two feet tall. can i top it anywhere? can i top it 2 or 3 nodes down? is it possible to kill the plant doing this? should i cut offf fan leaves for more light at the bottom? the fim technique is when u cut it and leave a little of the growth... its said it can split into as many as 8 new growths by doing this.... any advice? much appreciated.

When u do a traditional topping do you just cut right below the nodes?

right above the nodes, not sure if you can top 2-4 nodes down.. but I don't see why not if you want to make a clone out of the top
