You should fill out the troubleshooting form. What kind of soil? Whats your ingoing water ph? 13.78 is extremely high. I would question the ph tester you have. What kind is it? When was the last time it was calibrated? Has it been properly stored? As you can see we need to know alot more info to help you properly. Also you might want to put this in the plant problems section
its electronic long black tube with red triangle square at top black no. It says Checker at top little black on of switch at top. Got RS 214-855 on back.
I put it in a cup of tap water and i was getting same sort of reading. Ph checker for the soil or what ever liquid you put in it.
I getting better soil tomorrow i just borrowed some outside soil thats growing tomatoes. Is that 1 of my big mistakes
Not really a mistake.....just not the best to start with, IMO....Quote:

do u reckon i should put back in damp paper towel until i get bet quality growing medium. Or will that mess thing s up for good remember there only 1/4 inch still has the seed. Or shalll i just leave under light and go ahead with change that way sorry to be a pain. been very helpful
last post promise
If i were you Id order a ph600 on ebay for around 20 bucks(great little ph pen for the money). Until that comes in just use some distilled water from walmart or whatever is closest to you. I wouldnt disturb the seed unless you have it in a big container. If you are just using little party cups id let it be. When its time to transplant you can use better soil. Just remember the more you handle that seed the better chance you have of damaging it. Good luckQuote:
