Filter storage
Now, I have a really large kit box full of papers, Amsterdam-style filters, regular cotton filters, pipes, dugouts, etc. etc. etc.
When I'm traveling though, I have a small three-pouch hemp purse I like to use. One of the pockets expands to perfectly hold my Punisher wallet [I loves me some Frank Castle] and my pirate cigarette case. Now, my bag of filters is pretty hefty, and doesn't fit in to my purse at all. The thought of loose filters rolling around in my purse horrifies me [everything has a place!] so I thought I was screwed in being able to filter my joints. Don't fret!
So the other day, a friend of mine wanted me to show them how my [brand name here] cigarette rolling machine worked, and I didn't have any herb or tobacco to roll, so I used five filters to fill up the 100mm roller, and rolled them like a cigarette with a paper and everything. Then it hit me; filter cigarettes. I just rolled 9 of them, so I've got 45 filters nestled perfectly in my cigarette case. I just snap one off when I need them.
Definitely very handy, and nifty. My hipster black market contact loves rolling his own cigarettes, and thinks this is actually incredibly clever, so I felt compelled to share. If any of you are OCD like me about loose filters rolling around in your bag, maybe give this a try? I've never done it with Dutch filters, but I'm sure it would work fine. In fact, I'm gonna go give it a try! :)
Hope this helps.
