sick plants?

hi, this is my 1st plant and i havnt realy got all the equiopment as yet, need ec pen, but i started anyway. does anybody know what it is, the leave looks real dull and has like a white-grey type stuff blocking the green. it mayb that the leave is dry as it looks it v much. also the stem is very short, inch tops. the seeding here wilted overnight from heat and fan damage, wen i entered the grow room in the morn the stalk was bent over andvery thin in places. i added water and this is now 36 hours later. no growth but do u think it will pull thru. thankyou :)

well i dont really know from the pic, but looks ok man. it should be ok. what light u usin?

thnx mellow for the reply. im ona 400 watt hps. the bigger plant looks worse now, somebody mentioned that the plant looks disformed anyway and i agree. the seed was bought from a market so i guess that explains alot aswell. my snow whites havnt had a prob so far. the sprout is doing well now :) thnx again

might want to try a humidity dome if u aren't using one.And i always spout and veg under 24hr of light but some go as low as 18 on 6 off.good luck

400 watt hps can be to much for a seedling.. make sure it is 36 inches from your baby for at least the first week... I would use a flour to start it during its first 10 days....
