how exactly do you flush your plant out ?... what are the steps in growing that you need to follow (when do you start flowering, how so)?
Im not exactly sure as I have not made it to that point yet, but from what i've read and heard you basically give the plant pure water with NO neuts for the last 2 weeks of its life. I believe they sell an actual flusher at hydro shops that you mix with your reg water. Do a little research, im sure you can find it at most hydro stores.
I think to start flowering depends on your grow room size and how big you really want them to get. Most start in the 4-8 week range by switching the light cycle to a 12on 12off schedule.
Essentially to flush, you run water thru your plant until the water coming out the bottom is clear.
So, if you have a 3 gallon pot, you would run 3 gallon flushes. A 5 gallon pot, a 5 gallon flush.
The number of times required is dependent upon how many times you need to flush to produce clear runoff water.
So make sure your drainage is adequate!

Oh yea...
Some people flush PRIOR to flowering as the ferts needed changes in this state. Others ony flush a week or two before harvest.
