the best calming strain out there

i've been on anti depressants for years ..ativan too wich is a seditive or tranquilizer ..i don't much like being on pills all the time...i'm on effexor right now ..and if you ever took it you would know its damn near impossible to get off of...gives you "brain shivers" .i used to smoke weed as a kid now i'm 33..last few times i smoked it got wicked high and it was NOT FUN ..not the buzz i remembered from school...and i wasn't on any meds the last time i smoked it ..i know i should have took smaller tokes...but i think its the strain of weed they sell here ...it all smells like lipton cup a soup lol when its burning ..not like a good old skunky weed from the 90's ..i do have a green thumb i grew up on a farm i do know how to grow stuff...i'm thinking if i could find the calmest strain out there and a place to buy the seeds and took small tokes i would be able to get off the pills ...what do you think?? any suggestions on strains or where to buy the seeds? i'm pretty sure what they sell in my area is northern lights and bc big bud

You should be fine with the strains you mentioned that are available in your area. For the most sedative or tranquilizer effect I would recommend medibles. Grow the weed then make some butter (sticky at this site) then use the butter to make cookies or anything that has butter in the recipe. They take effect in about 53 to 70 minutes.

I have chronic back pain which keeps me awake at night. I eat a cookie and sleep soundly for at least 4 hours. If I am still tossing after I wake and it is still the middle of the night I eat another. They wear off for me in about 3-4 hours but this varies greatly by individual.
