Seedling Question
I have a new seedling that came above ground with the seed husk still over the cotyledons.
After a day and a half of keeping it moist, I couldn't take it anymore and carefully removed the husk.
When I did there was a "ball" of something attached to the stem. :wtf: I have tried to gently pull it off, but it definitely is attached.
Does anybody know what this is and what it's called?
Sorry for the out of focus pics, but it's the best I can do right now. :hippy:

Seedling Question
I have been begrudgingly leaving it alone and stopped trying to pull this growth off.
But does anybody know what this is?:wtf::confused:

Seedling Question
You have to just let mother nature run it's course, popping the seed cover off is even risky. I had a few I had to very, very gently pop the seam with sharp nosed scissors because I could tell it wasn't going to happen on it's own, I nicked one of them and it grew deformed at first and was well behind the other seedlings.

i agree with purple d just treat them like any other seedlings. your other interventions wont help one way or the other.
