Is it possible to test too high for Creatine ?

Haven't posted in a long time but always reading and here's my question..can I take so much Creatine that when/if tested it would raise red flags?

IF I get tested it would be on either a Sat,Sun or Mon so I Dilute with Gatorade and BComplex those 3 days. Normally if I only smoke Mon. & Tues. night I pass a home test by Sat. morning with NO Dilution.I'm wanting to extend smoking until Wed. and was wondering if I start loading w/Pharm. Grade Creatine Wed. thru Mon. at 30gs per day and then Dilute Sat.,Sun. and Mon. if my Creatine level could possibly be too high.

Is it possible to have too high of a Creatine level?..thx in advance for any and all advice,responses.

The answer to that question is no. There are no upper limits established for creatinine. As long as the creatinine level is above 20 mg/dL, its satisfactory.

However, this doesnt mean that you should go crazy with creatine-loading. Overloading on creatine can result in long unwanted bathroom sessions, sitting on the toilet seat. :eek:

Thx BT..been through those "sessions" before :)I went with a different type(Micronized?) this time because it lauded itself as NOT causing said issues but who knows.Great selling point though for sure..lol

Who would test for creatine levels? It's not an illegal substance, heck even the NFL doesn't test for it. Your body produces creatine naturally(mostly from red meat) but if you start taking it as a suppliment your body stops producing it naturally. I'm not aware of it raising testosterone levels(which would trigger a test for steroids) so I couldn't see any problems, it flushes through your system quickly. Be sure to take LARGE amounts of water as it can be hard on your kidney's if you don't flush it through your system the extra water also speeds the phosphate to your muscle tissue.

I want to get back on it but the bathroom issues as stated can be a real PIA(pardon the pun lol).

Purple creatinine levels are testing on most urine screens these days to check to see if people are diluting. When you drink too much fluids your creatinine levels drop. That's why it is suggested that people who are going to try to trick the bladder cops should load up on creatine 2-3 days prior to the test. Pun found and LOL. It's never had that affect on me thankfully.

Creatine is not tested in the urine sample. Creatine metabolizes into creatinine, which is the end waste product thats found in urine and tested by the labs to determine an overly-diluted sample, as Web stated above.

Creatinine is also tested to determine a "non-human" urine sample. Samples with a creatinine level below 2 mg/dL are ruled "not consistent with human urine", as outlined in the criteria set by the US Dept of Health & Human Services (DHHS).

It would be for a random test at work..been there 7 years and love it.

Okay. Since youve been there 7 years, I take it that this is not your first random test you had to take thru this employer; is that correct?
