HELP! Can I save this plant?

I don't know what I did...I fed it the same way that I always feed it, same amount and everything, but it looks like I gave it too much nutes....I'm wondering if it's because I poured in the water slowly this time to make sure I get the water all the way down to the bottom. Let me explain. I usually pour the water in the bucket really fast, and I have holes in the bucket about 2 inches from the bottom so the water can gather. Since the water doesn't get absorbed into the soil all that fast, it usually slides down the side of the buck and pours out, well, this time I scratched up the soil so the water with the nutes could penetrate and really feed the roots. I was able to pour and entire gallon in before it started coming out the sides this time...I've got 2 plants that look like this, but this is the worse...when I started noticing it 2 days ago, I pour in a gallon of water without nutes this time to try and flush it out, I don't know if I should put another gallon in or not..any suggestions would be greatly apprecated.Attachment 275448Attachment 275449

you can enlarge the pic, so hopefully those will help...if you want others, then let me know...I'm still new to this, and this is only my second crop...I had to reorder NYC Diesel seeds cause I drowned the ones I had, I didn't realize that diesel was so hard to grow.

One problem I see is you need to drill drainage holes in the bottom of your buckets.
Having them two inches up the side will allow water to collect below that level. This can cause your roots and soil to rot down there. Your nutrients will also pool down there and concentrate.
There is no oxygen in that lower portion, and oxygen is an important factor. :hippy:

i agree with tiki. not to mention your ph at the bottom can change with no way to measure or control it leaving you helpless as to whats really going on(salt build up, over/under nute, lockout, etc). tip that planter over and drill holes asap. let it dry and then resume normal feeding after a flush. raise the bucket a little so it drains freely.

Yes, the water needs to be able to drain freely. Once you put in new holes flush them.
