Acidic Forest Soil is going to be problematic
Hello,
I'm about to transplant some plants into a couple forest clearings after they develop their first couple of true leaves (this is when I should transplant them outdoors right?). However, I went and took a soil sample and did a water runthrough test to check the pH and it was very acidic. Lots of conifers and firs around.
How can I neutralize the soil pH without dragging a ton of bags out there, cause I'm not doing that. Will lime suffice? It will be a couple weeks probably until theyre ready.
What kind of growing options are there to make this work best? The soil is definitely moist enough to where I wont need to water much, and its definitely fertile.
I'd appreciate some advice.
