Please Help - New Medical Grow Setup Questions
Hey everyone, Ive been a member on here for a few yrs, and finally was able to get my Medical Card in RI this past November. Ive decided to try and provide for myself, and I have very little grow experience. Before anyone tells me to read the forums and use the search function, I have been for months.... Im finally ready to post some solid questions as I am preparing to build my room.
Im being forced to put my room off of the house... After doing the math, I decided on ordering a pre-built Mini Barn (shed type of thing) that will be sitting in my backyard. It is much cheaper and easier than doing it myself. Better by almost
$1000! They will build it however I want it. It is a raw 16" by 12" space (inside dimensions). I can have vents, windows, doors etc.. placed wherever I want. Then they deliver it, drop it on a rock bed, and your on your own. The outside is finished and shingled, and the inside is raw with 2 by 4 Studs Exposed.... Here is a pic

So with my 16" by 12" space, Im dividing it into 3 rooms, with one long hallway having Separate doorway entrances into each room.... My Flowering Room will be 9" by 9" and have 12 plants. The Vegetation room will be 3" by 9" with another 12 plants, and the drying/supply room will be 3" by 9".
Im gonna have a plumber get me running water out there, and Im having an Electrician put a sub-panel box out there, with a few 20 Amp Breakers- so I will have the power for whatever necessary as far as my lights, fans, filters, etc...
.
My question is about the HVAC (Heating, Venting and Air Condition) I live in the Northeast where we get 4 solid seasons.... Summer is HOT and HUMID.... Winter is Cold and Dry.... Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can vent, cool, dry, and heat all 3 rooms? I know there are Climate control systems as Ive read about them, but what do they actually consist of? As far as Venting, I know that I want an air vent leaving the room near the ceiling or roof, and the air intake near the floor of each room... I also know there is a computer type control (like an alarm system), with an Air conditioning Condenser somewhere outside for AC, Duct-work to the rooms, some sort of heating device (unless the condenser does both?).. Or do I need base Board Heat, and Air Conditioning separate?
Any ideas or advice would be very appreciated... :pimp:

Soleus makes some good portable air conditioners. I purchased one that was an A/C, heater, de-humidifier. It has an intake and exhaust that you can vent through a window. If I were you, I would cool/heat the hallway and draw intake air for each room from the hall. And you can tie your exhaust lines together above each room. Then vent through either side with like a 12x24" attic vent or so.
Hope this helps....

YES! I never even thought of that route!! Well, I went to the website and I looked at them, and they are exactly like you said.... pretty much all in one.... Theres even an auto feature that utilizes all at the same time.... So I guess my next question is.... is this thing efficient enough to really push enough Air conditioning in the Dead of Summer, and enough heat in the frigid winter into the 3 rooms? If so, is one gonna do it? Or do I need more than one? The biggest I found was 14,000 BTU... Thanks
