Removing leaf's
Is there any problems with removing leafs from your plants? My plants are in the flowering phaze at the moment and I was told by the guy in the grow shop that its ok to remove some of the leafs. The reason I would want to do this is for light penitration

I would not remove leaves to allow light to penetrate, instead train the sun leaves down between the buds. The only time I remove leaves is as they die. I have one species that one would think the light will never get in to the buds. Man this is some of the best pooh in my garden.

I remove leaves and have had no ill effects. I get two ounces a plant so I'd say yeild is not affected. I only use an 8 bulb T5 so I have to remove some to get the penetration I need.

You'll be alright to removes some leaves to give you extra light penetration. Its done all the time. Many orchards and nurseries do it. When I get ready for harvest there is not too much to trim anymore :). I never did until I attended a weekend course at the Oaksterdam Universary in Oakland.

I take off many leaves to let the light in. It also helps the plants dry out quicker so less mold. I also take off a lot of the popcorn buds to let the main buds get all the nourishment.
