Did I Veg To Long NOOB Question
I am total noob, and I started this plant dec 15th 2011. I thought it was just a slow grower, anyway I finally hit 12" and decided to start the flower stage of 12/12. The plant is very bushy with hints of purple on fan leaves and with many inner nodes, some protruding past outer fans. [I]s there such a ting as over veggin?? I have used 3 Walmart gro lights 24" and just added 2 4' flo's. Feeding has been with miracle gros18-24-16. Plant is 100% female and looks very healthy, but after reading I wonder if I forgot something or over vegged? Any and all input appreciated. I did take 2 inner cuttings yesterday for some clones, am I on the right path?? Thanks againAttachment 274279Attachment 274280Attachment 274281Attachment 274282Attachment 274283

[I]s there such a ting as over veggin?? The only time that someone can say that they over vegged is when their plant has outgrown the space that is setup for it to grow in, otherwise, no.
The only thing that stands out to me is that your fan leafs are pointing down as if sad. Not sure why. Do you let the soil almost dry before adding water/nutes?
She looks great so far. If you happen to think that you might be having a problem, go into the Plant Problem section and there you will find a thread with a Trouble Shooting Form that you can copy n paste, answer the questions and then get some help.....
Hope this helps you......

Your plant does look healthy, but it shouldn't take 14 weeks to get to that size (presuming you don't have the hands of a giant). It should take about 4/6 weeks to get a plant to that size from seed/clone. I think you need to do some reading and also find a completed grow log that is similar to your setup to take hints and tips from.

This plant is on the edge of nute overdose, in particular N. Other than that, looking purty good. Just stop the nutes now. Molasses and water.

i agree, that was my first thought, too much N. im also a firm believer in quality nutrients. if you can afford it look into some other nutes, when i left the miracle gro realm i never looked back. a couple of years ago their organic line came out and all i did was go... hmmmphh, ill be damned:jointsmile: as always check your ph. as for vegging too long i dont think there is such a thing. its mostly a matter of how your set up. from your pics your lucky its not a riser. the lighting you have is insufficient. for flower you need more red spectrum which is hps, warm whites, and for the rich we have led's. look up "scrog" and you will drool and learn a lot on a budget. figure this though, 400w per two feet of height in no more than 3"x3" of footprint(unless scrog)

molasses is a carbo for your plants, it gives them the energy they need to finish flowering. sweet is a brand that seems pretty good. dont use human brand molasses though.

Thats not true lol. You can use "Human" brand Molasses. Molasses is also a decent Mag source for your girls in bloom which is something either people don't know or is over looked. The "human" grade molasses should be Black Strap UNSULFURED Molasses. I use Mothers. NEVER get Sulfur kinds it will kill any microlife in the soil and leaves residue. Also just a side note you might want to upgrade your Light. Suggestion for next time is a 23w CFL bulb with 6500k rating. They are cheap and with a Monkey light fixture you can make a concentrated beam thats far more effective than a T12 or 1 T8. js... I did a sick CFL grow with a Automatic strain that pulled over 1oz with just 3 bulbs throughout its whole life. (if you know auto's thats pretty damn decent)
As a side note I grow TLO and if you do or are trying to as well you will get all that N you have stored in the soil quickly chewed up by Micro life. So don't be to worried. Go get Roots Organics Organism XL and add 1 spoon per Gal of water to the mix drop a Air stone in the pitcher and let that brew. Tea + Soil + Organisms will slaughter any Synthetic Nutrient you can muster. Maybe not in Bulk your first time but with practice you can grow Grenades. You'll need Fungus for that but that's a whole other story.Trust me lol.. I have a Laughing Buddah that just won my WTF main cola award with one that I cant wrap my hand around.... And I don't have small hands by any means. A lot of Synthetic growers would be a little peeved at the cola's and size plants I get in Dirt...Indoors... You don't wanna see my outdoor Monsters. I'll have a Grow log this summer for em. 1st one up at my new house. ^.^b
Happy growing!
One love...
