Sometimes I wonder....(test related)

I'm a heavy smoker (average weed) who has been smoking for over 15 years. I weigh 160 and I'm 6ft high. I don't work out very much either.

After smoking every single day for years, I drop clean after about 17 days of not smoking, every time I test (DOT).

My issue is - and I know everyone is different - just how in the hell is it people can fail a test after 45 days? I've seen many posts of people claiming they drop dirty after 35 days ,45 days, etc. I wonder if these people are really telling the truth. OK, maybe you're 350lbs or something, but people that big are few and far between. Could it be anti-smokers join the forum just to scare us smokers?

I mean, I keep hearing that the more you smoke, the longer it takes. I just can't buy that. Maybe it is just me. Like I said, I understand the variables but 45 days? Comon, now.

Anyway, I'm sober right now (sigh) again because I have a drop coming up on April 12th. I stopped smoking on 3/24. I'll pass because I've passed before under the same circumstances. (Well, the last time I diluted but that was being clean for 11 days...I'm not going through that stress again.)

HOWEVER, I do not want anyone to think this is for everybody. My advice is give yourself at least 21 days if you are my weight and height. Do what needs to be done.

I just don't believe anyone when they claim it took them over 45 days to clean out. That's crazy.

If I'm wrong, feel free to tell me.

Obviously you haven't read my thread. As of now, I'm at day 45 and I failed the home test kit this morning with my first piss. So yes it's still possible and i'm not fat in any way. I didn't exercise on day 1 of no smoking and didn't get into the routine until later on. I don't smoke J's or use a pipe. I straight up used 2 liter bottles (gravity bong and waterfalls) for the last 8-9 years. I don't smoke anything that has seeds in it. I'm not from California where you can get good stuff at every corner but I do in fact smoke some seriously good stuff. I'd say after work every day I would average 4 waterfalls per day. On the weekend it's another story. Double it up close to triple it up, since the weekend are my Halo days. I'm in NY (not NYC) where there is nothing but snow so staying at home and smoking is the norm around here. My physical and test was supposed to be today but I got a call this morning and the Doc was sick. Now instead of having a 1:30 appt, it's now tomorrow morning at 9am. I will be using the diluting method which I have to get up super early. So believe me i'm not pulling your leg at all. After this test I still will be keeping track with a home test kit for shits and giggles to see how long it stayed in my system.

Here's a question for you. When you had to use the diluting method for the DOT, did you worry about your specific gravity and creatine level or just drink serious water? What exactly did you do? Kind of wondering. Thanks

I subbed water with Gatorade. I ignored the creatine (which I do not suggest) and I guess I was lucky. Keep in mind, it came back negative but a negative-dilute. They could have sent me back for a re-test but didn't.

Basically, my test was at 9am and I woke up at 6 to start the regime. Plenty of Gatorade and b-complex vitamins. And make sure you void a couple of times before you drop for your test. You want that urine to be only what you drank that morning.

Follow that sticky thread at the top of the forum to a T. Read all the responses too. Ignore the aspirin, it's no longer needed.

I hope you pass, bro. I could have worded my topic better so no offense. I believe you when you say you're still dropping dirty. It sucks. This invasion of our privacy is a freaking joke.

Also, it helps that my metabolism is off the charts. I can eat like a pig and never gain a pound. I've been the same weight for fifteen years.

THC is stored in fat cells, as we know. However, what we must remember is that fat cells do not go away but rather shrink. Personally, I have never known of anyone to drop dirty after 30 days. I'm sure it has happened, but it is probably more the exception than the rule. A basic rule of thumb is one month clean equals a negative/clean test.

Unfortunately, no drug screen can determine abuse. They can only determine use. Therein lies one of the many problems with them. In the end, this is all the result of greedy insurance companies.

Thanks. With gatorade the SP will always be up? So no such thing as dilution, you think? I've been taking creatine like crazy the past few days but don't really know how that will work out and how much gets excreted during my voids. I've been starting my dilution at about 4 hours before the test for my practices. I've read in the manuel it's a DOT style test. Will def. post my results. Thanks
