Foliar Feeding

I have been giving my plants a regular feeding every other day in the water, But I am considering foliar feeding with some kelp since I just in to flower, I am wondering if I have to stop the regular feeding before I do the spray to avoid burning with nutes or is that not a concern?

Also has anyone used EarlyTurn? I am giving it a shot in hopes to avoid stretching wondering how well it works.

And I'm not a big fan of spending big bucks for a product that nature does for free. If the price tag is worth the saved week (or so) of transition, then just make sure it doesn't interfere with your nutrients, additives and soil chemistry. (it's ph, for instance...)

Any clue what's in the EarlyTurn? Have you thought of training 'em instead of adding unknown/unnecessary chemicals? (perhaps search onsite for 'low stress twisty-tie training')

That is good info also, but not specific to pot, also I was talking about spraying with kelp, as it contains the growth hormones and I have heard it would aid in the development of buds since it help with cell specialization. Not using foliar feeding to replace my nutes, but since kelp also contains so many nutes I was wondering if I risk burning the plants with both the watering nutes and then the spray kelp.

Yet it is specific to plant biology. But hey...you are more than welcome to disregard scolarly findings regarding the subject of foliar feeding. Doesn't bug me in the slightest. You won't take the advise of horticultural expert(s), yet you are still asking if you should foliar feed. And just like the article cited above, my answer is no. In my garden I'd mix it up per instructions, and add it to the soil. This lets the roots do their job and prevents over/under-dosing. Plus, It prevents crap from building-up on leaves blocking photosynthesis and gas-air exchange, and you don't risk mold issues nor burning the foliage.

Some folks love their foliar spray's. But unless it's to correct a specific deficiency...I'm not one of 'em.
