Life insurance bloodurine test question- Do they cross reference them??

I'm getting a life insurance "home interview" type exam Thursday morning, which requires both blood and urine samples. I've been an Ironworker for 25 years and battled with job urine tests, and seen a lot of guys bust out when they weren't even dirty. I've been job steward and had to fight for these guys (sometimes myself). Anyway, I'm now on disability retirement at 52 years old, and have to go through it one more time.

What I would like to know is this... do they cross reference the blood and urine samples? I've been told that the blood is for HIV, PSA's, cholesterol and stuff like that. And that the weed probably won't show by blood by the time they draw it. Nothing I can do about my blood, anyway. I'm not taking any chances with the piss, and have some Ultra Klean\Ultra Pure for that. I only do about 4 small one hitters a day, (I'm talking the tiny brass hitter), plus I work out with weights and run 6 miles outside every other day. I don't smoke cigs or drink, or do anything else. Anybody out there got any clue if they cross-check the piss and blood? What are the odds? Thanks, everybody. I thought I was past this crap. (But I did keep my Whizzinator, just in case!) THCA is only present in blood for 24 hours, so quitting from now till Thursday will be sufficient. I don't think they will cross reference anyway, but it's better to be safe than sorry. The urine test will probably be the drug test and I wouldn't rely on the Ultra Klean detox drinks. They are an unreliable source of dilution and could cause you a failed test result. I would look into substituting with a friends clean sample or Quick Fix synthetic urine.

Many thanks for the reply, Deige. I was beginning to wonder if I'd said something wrong since no one wrote back. The ultra pure I have is sterile urine. I've used this stuff for jobs ever since I ran out of the powder stuff that came with my Whizzinator, which was a hassle anyway. Fortunately we have a small head shop in the area, which is amazing in itself, seeing that we are out in the boonies here, and they carry it. (All the construction guys appreciate them, anyway). I had read that thc was out with a few days, but also read about the tests being for cannibinoids, not actual thc. Anyway, I've got my 4 oz bottle ready. I was a little concerned that since I take prescription painkillers and broncheze for running that if those things, and others that I take daily, show up in my blood, are they going to peg me for not having anything in my urine. That's my main concern with this. The Ultra Pure synth has never failed me or any other Ironworkers that I've known to use it. Except one guy who thought he was supposed to piss IN the cup to warm up the thermo band, then dumped it and wiped it out with his shirt tail. This is after he smoked a fat one in his truck that morning, didn't wash his hands and had the same shirt on that he had smoked in. (He's a good friend of mine that put away a quarter oz a day himself. He couldn't understand why it failed! I told him, "First, you can't piss inside the cup, you idiot. If it's not to spec temp, at least pee on the outside!" The dirty hands and shirt didn't even send up a red flag. Geez.) Anyway, thanks for the help. I don't have any choice but this, but now i feel better. Sad thing is, if I just wanted $100k of insurance instead of $200K, I wouldn't have to go through this. Go figure.

Ok, it's been a week and a half since the nurse came to test me. I haven't heard anything back from anybody yet, but I used the Ultra Pure sterile bottled urine that I always used for job tests, and she tagged it at 95*, so I'm in the ballpark on that. I quit taking my pain killers (Norco 10/325's) a few days before, since it was blood and urine. And she was an Ironworkers wife! Anyway, I'll repost on here when I find out positively that I passed or not.

its really rude when people post their issue, they get everyones input on the synthetic urine, then they dont have the decency to write with the results??? effed up.
