DAY 36 OF FLOWER

hey guys the last thread i done mustve been erased wen the site was under maintenance.....

anyway here are a few upto date pics let me how u think they are doing plz

i have4 weeks to go so im gonna still feed for 2 weeks then flush for 2 weeks...

is that the way to go

when its time to harvest ive read so many people sayind i should given 24 to 36 hours of darkness.....

ive read so many people saying they give 24 to 36 hours darness before flowering to speed up the flower process and then 24 to 36 hours darkness at he end of flower can some 1 please advise me on this......

then agian i also read it only speeds the flowering up by 1 to 2 days and ther are risks of stunting and hermie...

what do u guys have to say about this

I've done the 24 hour darkness before I go into flower from veg.. Never used it before harvest... Don't think you got any stunting to be worried bout. They look very healthy.. Doin' a GREAT JOB with them.. Keep it SIMPLE..

I fall into the camp of not wanting to cause any extra stress if I can help it. The way I see the initial 24 hour darkness period going into flowering is this... its two adjustments actually... from 18/6 to darkness... and then from darkness to 12/12. I am not a fan of this method. 12/12 immediately gets the point across just fine.
At the point of harvest is another matter entirely. I can definitely see the logic in trying to get the plant to believe that the end of the world is upon it... and it is time to shed all possible oils into those buds, actually trying to send the last little bit to the seeds it may have produced in order to maintain the survival of its line... which of course is its only purpose in life. Stress here is what it is all about, the plant is dying and preparing for that end.

i dont think ill be doin the 24 or 36 hour darkness b4 flower

however ill do 24 hour darkness at the end of flower and see how it wrks out

they smell absolutely magic

hey guys im gonna start the flush process in a couple of days..
im using 11 ltr pots..

Q1 how much water do i use to flush each 1

Q2 how many times do i flush in the last 2 weeks

do i flush 1nce and the water as normal

or do i flush wen they need waterd again

they r buddin up realy nyc

any tips for how to finish up in last stages to get the best out of my girls will be really much appreciated

flush them through with 6.5 - 7.0 ph water and aim for around 20% run off (adjust the amount of water until you are getting around about 20% of the total amount of water you've put in coming out the bottom... eg. if you pour 2l in at the top expect 400ml ish to collect in your trays... make sense?

let them dry out after a couple of days and then re-flush and continue to do so until 4 days before you cut them down.... (a little tip: let them dry out and do not water them for about 4 days before you harvest.... this will help you dry them quicker when harvested and also minimise mould problem when drying...
