Are "Material Handlers" drug tested?

I know it varies from company to company but does anyone know if a job like this generally requires testing?

If it were me, I would enter the application process with the full expectancy that a drug test will be performed and prepare accordingly. Thats with any job - unless I see it in plain writing that a drug test would not be performed.

my sister works as a material handler, and she had to take a drug screen. and yes, she drives a towmotor.

Beware, a lot of company's are now using hair for the initial test (mine now does but still uses urine for randoms). I guess the theory is if you know your gonna get tested for a pre-employ you'll just stop using long enough to pass or sub a sample or use QF.
