Aerogarden help...

On feb 1st, 2011... planted two femanized seeds into aerogarden. I used what came iwth it, the peat pods, nutrients, lights etc. I have a timer set for 18/6 and been doing alot of reading. My question is.... how long is the longest time i will see the seeds sprout out of the pods to remove biodomes? Its been 13 days, and the cotyledons have not yet appeared, all i see is the seed coat emerging, but its been 13 days? is that normal, shall i keep them in there longer or is it too late since its been two weeks and no sprouts?

Be patient be takin pilgrems round here to warm up to ya for a bit cause they all be chattin with friends and family which yual be soon enough. They will come ifin yual post it just wait fur the response.

Can you define "seed coat" please. Also temp, and all other particulars would be helpful.

Well, I looked this morning into the aerogarden grow pod. The seed is visable, below the grow pod surface, I put the seed just a tiny bit under the top and all i see is the seed top in the pod. No leaves or anything and its been like that now 14 days.

i started off with a aerogarden i found in a alley for my first grow as well. 13 days IS a little long for no cotyledons to have appeared. i only ran seeds of PH'd water, no nutes or any of those giant nute pills they come with. aerogarden is usually pretty fast at germinating;

u'll want to take the little dome off right before the sprout touches it.
