First Grow Seed Selection: BigBud/NorthernLights#5/BigBudvsNL#5
Heyy everyone ,

I am doing some research into my first grow and I am stuck on what sort of strain to grow. Firstly here are some of the details:


-Room: Walk In Closet with dimension of 8.5ft long x 5ft. wide x 9ft. high

-# of Plants: 10plants in 5g pots for vegging (planning on having 3-4 females left for flowering (is it ok if I germinate the seeds in these large pots as well so there is no transplanting involved)

-Lights: Dimmable 600W Metal Hallide for vegging and 600W Super HP for flowering
Length: 4/5 weeks for vegging and 10 weeks for flowering. I will have Mylar set up around and have a couple of 75-100w CFL's around the sides if my room handle that much electricity

-Vent: 8inch exhaust inline fan located in ceiling (goes into attic) and carbon filter

-Nutrients: Unsure atm but leaning towards General Hydroponics Flora Series or FloraNova Series with supplement additives being Advanced Nutrients Overdrive and Big Bud. Any advice on this combination would be appreciated

-Soil: Undecided but leaning with with Forest Farm

-Other: Planning on cloning the strain just before flowering


I have narrowed my seed selection to:
Northern Lights #5
Big Bud
Big Bud vs. NL#5

My selection criteria, in order of importance, is as follows:
Yield
Difficulty of grow and resistance to stress
Odor
