outdoor south uk recommended seeds

last year i grew sum random bagseed that was all going really well until i hit midflowering when i realised that it was gunna take me well into novemeber til harvest and mold and other disease problems started to insue so i had to take the crop early... this year i wanna go for something that has a shorter flowering time but thats the easy part... i wanna plant that has high mold resistance and disease resistance and grows well in the northern hemisphere any suggestions wud be greatly appreciated thanks
