i don't understand the concept of why when women get mad at their husbands, boyfriends, mates, whatever they want to hold back on the sex. i don't understand that. wouldn't that make men want to go and stray? if my husband pissed me off i'd put it on him so hard he wouldn't have the strength to go out and look for someone else.

I don't do it, but I understand the concept. If I was mad at someone, the last thing I want to do is get jiggy with them.
Power. :) When people are in conflict with one another, they bring into play whatever power they have. If a woman is using sex (or lack thereof) as a weapon, perhaps it is because that is where she feels her power exists. I don't think this is a conscious thing... just human tendency & instinct, if you will. And for the record: yes, I am a woman, & no, I don't use that strategy. Unless I happen to have a headache (hehehe)...
