I am looking for opinions on the best and most RELIABLE PH testers on the market??? Mine took a shit and luckily I don't have much going right now:(
I'm interested in knowing about testers that can be used daily(couple times daily) and will not go through electrodes weekly??? I am not interested in some high maintenece tester that requires more attention than my plants:thumbsup:

Yea, I've been through 2 testers and can't seem to find one to hold up longer than 2-months. I'm thinking I may have to break down and buy a nice $150 digital PH & PPM tester but I hope not. Hopefully someone here can help out:thumbsup:Quote:

I've found that the hannah PH testers work great and only have to be calibrated once a week. I've also used cheap PH testers with the same issues but not with my higher end Hannah PH tester. I use the Hannah HI 98130 which is an amazing tester. Its accurate to a .2 and the electrode will last you a long time. This PH tester is about $150 online but its well worth the money. You wont have to get a new tester for years. Also this tester is waterproof so if you drop it into the water its not a problem. If theres anything you dont want to cheap out on its your PH tester. Bad PH is a sure fire way of locking up your plants so invest a little and get a good one.

Thanks for the replies and suggestions:thumbsup: I am however, only interested in the meters at the moment. The strips do work fine but I just prefer the meters.:thumbsup:

I didn't get, why are you going to use it couple of times a day? Are you going to hydro?
I do plan to do one hydro plant next time around. I would have last time but I ran in to problems with space. All taken care of now.:thumbsup:Quote:
